Fruit & Vegetable Cold Storage

We are engaged in offering cold storage systems, fruits cold storage, vegetable cold storage, air cooling units, evaporative condensers, air curtains which is catering to the requirements of various milk chilling plants & dairy industries and refrigeration plants in pharmaceutical industry. These cold storages are mainly used for storing fruits, vegetables and milk products and are appreciated for low maintenance and easy to clean features.

Air Cooling Units

Air Cooling Units

Air Cooling Units are designed for Cold Storage Industry for storing Fruit, Vegetable, Potato, Milk, Milk Products and Dry Fruit etc. These air cooling units are designed in different make and models, as per the customer specification and temperatures required. These air cooling units are much more economical and different from old conventional system like diffusers and bunkers etc. These air cooling units covers less space and save electricity. It also gives fast and efficient cooling results and provides stable cooling.

Evaporative Condensers

Evaporative Condensers

Evaporative Condensers are more economical and efficient than Shell & Tube and Atmospheric type condensers. These can be easily installed over the roof top and in any direction. These evaporative condensers cover very low space and require less water. These condensers are easier to clean and to maintenance. These condensers save electricity by keeping condensing pressure low to reduce power consumption and scaling is reduced to minimum, since spray galvanized tubes are used.

Air Curtains

Air Curtains

Our heavy duty twin shaft double balance fan driven Air Curtains are designed to maintain the constant interior temperature of the cold rooms, fruit chambers, ice Cream chambers and other low temperature cold room chambers. These high velocity air flow air curtains blocks entry of hot air, insects, dust, dirt and fumes by creating an invisible curtain of high pressure air when the doors are open.

Walk in Coolers

Walk in Coolers

PUF Panel walk in coolers are used for stocking food products and other products which are to be stored for requiring temperature range from +15oC to -25oC. These PUF panel walk in coolers are made out of different surface panels with PUF injected inside, like pre-painted G.I sheet panels, SS sheet panel, Aluminum sheet panels. These walk in coolers panels are assembled with cam lock system. These walk in coolers are cost effective and easy to clean. Panels are available in 50mm, 80mm, 100mm and 150mm thick PUF insulation also.

Finned Tubes

Finned Tubes

Finned tubes are used in applications involving the transfer of heat from a hot fluid to a colder fluid through a tube wall.  The rate at which such heat transfer can occur depends on three factors:

(1) the temperature difference between the two fluids;

(2) the heat transfer coefficient between each of the fluids and the tube wall; and

(3) the surface area to which each fluid is exposed.

In the case of a bare (unfinned) tube, where the outside surface area is not significantly greater than the inside surface area, the fluid with the lowest heat transfer coefficient will dictate the overall heat transfer rate.  When the heat transfer coefficient of the fluid inside the tube is several times larger than that of the fluid outside the tube (for example steam inside and oil outside), the overall heat transfer rate can be greatly improved by increasing the outside surface area of the tube. In mathematical terms, the product of heat transfer coefficient for the outside fluid multiplied by outside surface area is made to more closely match the  product of the inside fluid heat transfer coefficient multiplied by tube inside surface area.

So the whole concept of finned tubes is to increase outside surface area.  As an example, a common finned tube configuration of 2" (nominal) pipe with 3/4" high welded helical solid fins of 12 gauge thickness with 6 fins per inch has an outside surface area of 8.23 sq. ft. per linear foot; whereas the same bare pipe has an outside surface area of only 0.62 sq. ft. per linear foot.

The advantage of finned tubes is that by increasing overall heat transfer rate, the total number of tubes required for a given application is reduced, thereby also reducing overall equipment size and decreasing the cost of the project.  In many application cases, one finned tube replaces six or more bare tubes at less than 1/3 the cost and 1/4 the volume.
